Certified K-8 Elementary Teacher

The certified teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth of elementary students. The teacher delivers standards-based instruction, assesses student progress, collaborates with staff and families, and fosters a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with district and state standards in core academic subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
Establish and maintain a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and student engagement
Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities
Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, interventionists, and support staff
Participate in IEP, 504 and other student support meetings as needed
Implement district-approved curriculum and instructional strategies
Maintain classroom organization, supplies, and instructional materials
Participate in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities
Support school-wide initiatives and positively contribute to school culture

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
Valid state teaching license/certification with elementary endorsement

Seeley Lake Elementary School District is a small rural school district located 52 miles from Missoula. We serve about 130 students K-8 in a four-day week format.

Head Football Coach

Extra-curricular opening for 26/27 school year at Seeley Lake Elementary:

Middle School Head Football Coach

(stipend: $1,500.00)

Reports To: Superintendent

Job Summary:
The Middle School Head Football Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the flag football program, including coaching, training, and mentoring student-athletes. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for sports, a commitment to student development, and the ability to foster a positive and competitive environment and build relationships with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of the program.
Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor assistant coaches and support staff.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of student-athletes, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, procedures and training per Seeley Lake Elementary School.
Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
Coordinate with the Superintendent to schedule and manage practices, games, and other events.
Ensure the athletic facilities are well-maintained, safe, and meet the needs of the athletes and staff.
Communicate expectations to all stakeholders and student athletes.
Promote the athletic program within the school and the community to all stakeholders.
Provide support and guidance to student-athletes in their academic success and achievements.
Other functions may be required as given or assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 3 years (preferred/not required) of relevant coaching experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of student-athletes, coaches, and administrators.
Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and Seeley Lake Elementary Schools policies and regulations.
CPR and First Aid certification (can provide certification training)

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
