Good morning SLE families-due to repairs in the lobby/front entrance area we need all students dropped off, in the am, at the end of the building near the baseball fields for the week of 9/21. Please be patient as everyone, including buses, will be dropping off there.
For families picking up their child(ren) at the end of the day, students will be escorted to the end door of the gym and can be picked up in the horseshoe. Please do not park in the horseshoe. We will have an adult with them to meet you in line to keep the line moving.
If you need to pick up your child early or drop them off late, please call 677-2265 and we will let you know where we will meet you.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Enjoy your weekend.

Attention VB students and families. Due to the water damage the volleyball game against DeSmet on 9/21 has been moved to an away game at DeSmet. The bus will leave at 2:15. Thank you.

Attention all VB families. We had a water issue at the school so we are not able to host a game. We are flip-flopping the schedule and going to Clinton today and have Clinton here in October. Players leave at 2:20. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Due to a small flood in the concession area, todays volleyball game has been moved to Clinton. The bus will leave at 2:15pm.
All VB girls will travel to Valley Christian today. There will be limited play time with one game.
Important VB message. Valley Christian only has one team so we will only play a 4:00 game today at Valley Christian. Sorry for the late notice. Thank you.

PICTURE DAY-SEPT 16th.

September 15th is International Dot Day. It is a global event inspired by Peter H Reynold’s children book “The Dot”. “The Dot” is about a teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage. Students will celebrate International Dot Day with activities and wearing polka dots. Help your student join in the fun and encourage them to ‘be brave enough to make their mark’.

Our first home VB game starts today at 4:00 pm against St Joes. Our FB team is on their way to Superior. Help cheer our Eagles on today.

It’s Labor Day Weekend. Enjoy the long holiday weekend and remember we have school Tuesday - Friday next week. (9/8-9/11).

What a great first day of school. An assembly where everyone got to meet the staff and our PTC handed out some great T-shirts. We ended our day with our required bus drills. A full day of hanging with classmates, meeting new people, practicing bus drills and starting to study significant skills. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
Attention Flag FB families. Our flag football team has coaches. They are Kolten ZurMuehlen, Kabe Webster and Kelten Dunster. In addition to great coaches, flag football practices will happen at the high school. We will bus all players up to the high school. Practice will go until 5:30 tonight but end at 5:45 in the future. Let’s Go Eagles.

Tomorrow is the day! First day of school for all our SLE families and students. Doors open at 7:30 am with breakfast served in our lunchroom. The tardy bell rings at 7:50. Also note, we now have a school speed zone 24/7 on School Lane and Pine St. Please help keep all safe and keep your speed at 20 mph or slower. Thank you Missoula County for getting this done for us. Next step is a light for our pedestrian crossing and Missoula County Sheriff to help us out by patrolling. See you tomorrow.

Thank you all for attending our open house on Tuesday, August 25th. If you were unable to attend, please check out scouts, our after school program and the PTC. They have some great opportunities for our students. Also, a big thank you to our PTC for providing treats at our open house. Can’t wait to see everyone Monday, August 31st.
