Middle School Head Football Coach
(stipend: $1,500.00)
Reports To: Superintendent
Job Summary:
The Middle School Head Football Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the flag football program, including coaching, training, and mentoring student-athletes. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for sports, a commitment to student development, and the ability to foster a positive and competitive environment and build relationships with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of the program.
Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor assistant coaches and support staff.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of student-athletes, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, procedures and training per Seeley Lake Elementary School.
Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
Coordinate with the Superintendent to schedule and manage practices, games, and other events.
Ensure the athletic facilities are well-maintained, safe, and meet the needs of the athletes and staff.
Communicate expectations to all stakeholders and student athletes.
Promote the athletic program within the school and the community to all stakeholders.
Provide support and guidance to student-athletes in their academic success and achievements.
Other functions may be required as given or assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 3 years (preferred/not required) of relevant coaching experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of student-athletes, coaches, and administrators.
Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and Seeley Lake Elementary Schools policies and regulations.
CPR and First Aid certification (can provide certification training)
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
