Good afternoon SLE families.
It was a beautiful sight to see all the red today for Red Ribbon Week. Tomorrow is camouflage day. Many were concerned they didn’t have any camouflage so we told them to wear all black, to be stealth-like. Looking forward to seeing all participate. Have a great evening.
Good afternoon SLE families,
Cold weather is here and looks to be sticking around for a while. Please be sure your child has pants, long sleeve/coat, hats and gloves for recess. They are welcome to wear shorts when inside but need to have pants to put on over their shorts when they go outside. If your child needs any of these items, please reach out to me at chartmannsle@sleonline.org. Thank you.
Hope everyone gets to enjoy some of our beautiful weather.
Reminder-next week is Red Ribbon Week. We have lots of activities planned activities along with our dress-up days.
Also, we will have a “Spook Walk” on October 30th. We will start the walk at 12:30 by walking to the Senior Citizen Center then parade through the gym about 12:45. We hope you can join us in the fun.

SLE families. Reminder-we have a short week this week. Students have a regular day on October 15th but no school on October 16 or 17. These days are used for staff training. Enjoy the long weekend. Thank you.

FYI: a couple of events coming up for our community.

We are looking for gently used or new items for our annual Christmas Store. We will be accepting items until December 17th. Items can be dropped off at the school Monday-Thursdays from 7:30am-4:30pm. Thank you. We would not be able to have this with out the generosity of our community!
In response to the hold situation at the elementary school this morning, we were asked as a precautionary measure to go into a hold , which is part of our standard response protocol, by Missoula County Sheriffs Department while they were dealing with a situation not at the school but in the vicinity. For additional information, Missoula County Sherriff Department has information on their Facebook page.
SLE families
We are all clear and off our hold. Please reach out with any questions. Thank you.
Please do not come to the school as we are still in a hold. Front doors are locked. Child Find is on hold at this time. I’ll update as soon as I have additional information. Thank you.
SLE families.,
We are currently in a hold within our school. There is no direct threat but for precautionary measures we have placed all in a hold which means business as usual just no movement within the school until I get the clear. Again, there is no direct threat. All precautionary measures. I’ll post again when I get the clear. Thank you.
Boy's basketball starts Monday.

FYI: Great opportunity.
