Technology is changing fast, and many of us are struggling to stay one step ahead of our kids and learn everything we can about being online. (Not an easy task when most of them know more about it than we do!) Join us May 17 in the SLE Tech Lab for a Family Tech Talk presentation with an Internet safety expert from Trend Micro. They will share the latest trends, give advice on how to help your child use the Internet responsibly, and answer parent questions in a Q&A session. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday with the Zoom presentation beginning at 7 p.m. Click the link at the bottom to join the event. We’ll discuss what our children are doing online and how to teach them to be smart, safe, and respectful digital citizens. We’ll also cover privacy and security issues, how to encourage responsible Internet use, and even more.In addition to learning some helpful tips, our school will also be entered to win an awesome tech package that includes a Chromebook, a $25 Roblox gift card, 5,000 Fortnite V-Bucks, and Trend Micro security software! We hope you join us next Wednesday or log in via Zoom for this educational event!

We are asking for input through a comprehensive needs assessment (CNA). This is a required piece through OPI, as we are a targeted school. This feedback will help the district as we look to develop our school goals. The district will be sending out another survey the week of parent teacher conferences. Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey.

SLE community,
Today we had a suspicious person enter our playground during our recess. They walked across the playground near some doors. They then left the premises without any interactions with staff/students. Out of precaution, we locked exterior doors and contacted the sheriffs office. After working with Missoula County Sheriffs department, it was determined that there was no threat to students and staff. Thank you Missoula County Sheriffs Department for your help in keeping our school safe.
